I left Bryce Caynon November 1st. Actually, the RV Park closed for the winter as it was getting really really cold! I didn’t have to be to Tombstone, Az until the end of November ( RV group meeting for a Friendsgiving). With time to fill…. I stopped in Vegas for a bit. Vegas is Vegas. I did enjoy The Wizard of Oz in the Las Vegas Sphere , some table ( carnival) games and some hikes in Nevada State Parks just outside of Las Vegas. Never seen “crapless” craps before.

Prescott ( where brother Bruce lives) is 2 hours north of Phoenix and sits at a perfect winter elevation of 5,400 feet. Had some light snow and many great hikes through the state parks in the area. Bruce retired from law and is now the President of the local Habitat for Humanity that has been serving the local population for almost 40 years. Over 100 homes built through an amazing process of local support. It was a tremendous pleasure to learn about their applicant screening process and meet some home recipients at the event.

There are only 2 types of motorcycle riders…..ones that have crashed and ones that are going to crash. Unfortunelty, after spending 20 years of biking in the “Going to fall group?, I now live in the “have fallen” group!

December 31, 2025 9am and 42*degree morning…… I was driving to meet friends for a 1/2 day ride.
I was only going 25m through a neighborhood and completely bundled from head to toe for the weather. As you will see in the pictures I marked up below, the road looked like it went straight for a long time, but when I got to the top of a hill, I was surprised with a huge immediate curve to the left. I was very fortunate to only spend 2 days in the hospital having surgery on my broken right wrist. It required 1 plate and 12 screws. I am very happy to say all of my bumps and bruises are gone. I have been diligently exercising and doing therapy on my wrist and very happy to report all is coming along very well. Thank you Bruce and Jill for all your help and taking care of Jagger while I was in the hospital and recovering. Thank you Mandy Huggard (client/friend) who helped me formulate and execute traveling physical therapy program.
